Step 1.  Press Windows key and R simultaneously so, that Run dialog box appeared on the screen.

Step 2.  Type sysdm.cpl in the box and click OK button.

Step 3. Open the System Properties Windows.

Step 4. In the Opened Windows move your cursor to Advanced and then click on it.

Step 5. From there open the Settings of Performance option.

Step 6.  Now, in Performance option Windows, Click on the advanced icon and click on the change button.

Step 7. Virtual memory Windows appeared on the screen, from there unchecked the dialog box of “automatically manage paging file size for all drive”.

Step 8. From there, customize the size option and select the initial and maximum paging file size (MB). 

And we suggest you no to select “No paging file” option which is present there.So, as you have increased the size, therefore rebooting or restarting your system is not necessary. But, if you have decreased the size, in such scenario rebooting your system is mandatory in order to make changes effectively.
